Unfortunately, it is very difficult to deal with a bad judge.  Lawyers have no latitude with the judge that may be the judge in their/your case.  Some important points to know:

Most experienced judges have seen and heard it all.  Once your credibility with the judge is lost, it is almost impossible to regain it.

Judges loathe witnesses that do not directly answer questions.

Your body language is very important. Be respectful of the court.

Never argue with the judge.

Hopefully, the judge is more likely to rule in your favor if you are truthful.
