How many times have you wished you could rate the date you just had? Now you can! There is a new, free, female-friendly social networking app that lets women anonymously review men who are their Facebook friends. Lulu is an iTunes app for women to rate and score their dates. On Lulu women can rate men in categories, for example ex-boyfriend, with hashtags. Then the hashtags are used to calculate a score generated by Lulu, ranging from 1 to 10, that appears under the man’s profile picture. Men can add hashtags, but these are not figured into their overall score.

Women have always found dating someone without a reference to be very scary. Lulu gives you some info on the person you are going to have a date with, so you know what you are getting yourself into.

Lulu has received over 500,000 requests from men to be put up for feedback. Apparently many men believe that it’s better to have been badly reviewed than never to have been reviewed. Some have even used Twitter to brag about their score on Lulu. Men who are not happy with their profile can have it removed by request to the company.

Lulu has been so successful that they have about 30 people on staff. They have just signed a lease for a 5,500 space in New York City, where they plan to move the company after the first of the year.
