The real reason why the Ten Commandments isn’t posted in any courthouse in the nation is because you cannot post —”Thou shalt not steal” —” Thou shalt not commit adultery” and, most importantly, —” Thou shalt not lie” in a building filled with lawyers, judges, and politicians.  It would create a hostile work environment.

Minimize Legal Activity

During your divorce you want to avoid any legal activity that is unnecessary.  You need to advise your divorce attorney to do the minimum required in order to protect you. Some attorneys practice “motion churning” to run up your bills.  Don’t let your attorney get away with this!
