After six decades of marriage, Katherine Jackson, Michael Jackson’s mother, officially filed for divorce from her husband, Joe Jackson.  She had already been separated from him for five years.

According to media reports, she has become fed up with his abusive behavior towards her and their children.  Michael Jackson did not mention his father in his will.
