In a divorce it is easy to get caught up in the emotion of it and make decisions from your heart and not your head.  Try not to do this.  You will make costly mistakes—we all do.

Keep your eye on the ball and stay focused on getting the divorce finished as quickly as possible, with as little expense as possible, so you can move on with your life.  Pick your battles wisely.  Treat this like a business deal—that’s the way your husband will.
