Military Divorce

Divorces are rising in the military.  The divorce rate in the armed forces rose again in the past year, the Pentagon said, and is now a full percentage point higher than around the time of the attacks of 9/11/2001. As in previous  years, women in uniform had much higher divorce rates than their male counterparts.

Yesterday’s New York Post had a two-page article:  “Pot-puffing Pitt & paranoid Jolie on road to breakup amid loud & ‘scary’ fights.”   “They’ll be split within 18 months probably sooner.”  I never thought they would last—but I’m sad for the children—six—who will be involved in this split.
