Some facts about baby boomers: There are 77 million baby boomers born between 1946 and 1964 in the U. S. Some 7,000 boomers will turn 65 each day beginning December 31, 2010—about 2.5 million next year. 71% of Americans believe that boomers should be encouraged to work past normal retirement age.
Baby boomers—ages 45 to 65—who initiated the sexual revolution—now say (24 percent) that they are dissatisfied with their sex lives, according to the Associated Press—LifeGoesStrong.com poll. Even seniors (over 65) say that they are happier with their sex lives.
Baby boomers were responsible for the highest divorce rate in history—22.8 per 1,000 married couples in 1979 compared to 3.5 per 1,000 in 2008.
