According to a paper presented at the 105th annual meeting of the American Sociological Association in August 2010, economically dependent husbands are more likely to cheat on their wives.
The more a man depends on his wife’s paycheck, the more chances he will cheat. Men who are completely dependent on their wife’s income—the “stay at home dad” or the “laid off dad” are five times more likely to cheat than men who contributed an equal amount of money to the relationship.
