If you are single in New York City, the odds are that you are a woman!  It is difficult for a single woman to meet someone in NYC.  According to the 2009 American Community Survey, there are 131,548 more unmarried and divorced women than men in NYC.  If you include widowed women, the figure jumps to more than 700,000.  There are so many attractive, smart and successful unattached women in NYC, who are unattached not by choice but by lack of options.  The competition is enormous.

The solution is to move out of NYC.  There’s a whole world of men out there looking for someone to share their life with—they’re just not in NYC.
