Your Divorce and the Judge
If your divorce can’t be settled amicably, and you end up in front of a judge, REMEMBER that divorce judges hate the process (and you) and rarely, if ever, read your papers! It is important that you keep reminding them of the facts every time you submit papers and go in front of them! They only REMEMBER the facts of your case from your current papers and what is said in front of them!
Also, it is very IMPORTANT that you put everything of relevance in your final papers because the judge won’t remember the facts of your case, especially if you have gone to trial! You have to remind them of all the facts of your case!
It is very IMPORTANT that you stay involved in your case. You know your case best and have the most to gain or lose. Remember, you are just a dollar sign to your attorneys!
